About Alexis

Art runs in the family: my father carpentry, my mother watercolor, my other mother's cullinary artistry, & my grandmother's oil works, have all inspired me! I have always had a flare for the dramatic which earned me the nick name Hollywood at home. No surprise that I enjoy expressing myself through charcoal since it is so motile. I can push it around on a canvas to make scenes that capture the raw beauty of human sensuality.

Recently I have begun an event planning company named Red Kru Productions, which allows me to use my other creative talents. I love putting together events of all types, so my clients don't have the added burden or stress in thier already hectic lives. Since I love doing it, it isn't work to me.

I hope to own a gallery some day that I can use to help other artists fufill thier desires and reach thier potential. Show them the worth they have and allow them to create something timeless with thier legacy.

For now I am holding a few events a year where I am blessed to have some amazing artists share my vision and collaborate for different "Nights of Art." Giving back is something my family has always instilled in me, so each event I select a different group to highlight as a way to pay it forward. I could never give back all the grace I have recieved to get me to this point, but I begin by helping in my own back yard.
